Smash and Grab London's finest

Being back in London deserves a new blog. It really does. People tend to look at me quizzically when I say that I LOVE London and am very happy to be back. Indeed, I received a free bottle of cachaca delivered to my door today - Dubai what? Crumbs and Dirty Dishes will still be updated so keep checking that but this is a different kettle of fish entirely.

So, I basically envision this being a round up of all the wicked stuff going on in the city that you might not find out about but that's well worth your time. Screw the shit stuff - this is the hot stuff - a guide for your weekdays, weekends and any time you have in between.

With no further ado lets go:

October 5th to 10th (we've missed a day because I was working like a beast this weekend and having fun times at The Easton / Big Chill House)

Smash and Grab

I won't go pretending that Smash and Grab is the newest night in town, it's not. But what it is is consistently cool - packed to the gills with Camden's loudest crowd with style at Camden's loudest club with style (that would be Proud, Camden). It has also got rather exciting recently with the one night being split into two parts

SMASH & GRAB

HAS SPLIT!!!

INTO TWO NIGHTS

ON ONE NIGHT. IN ONE VENUE!

SMASH LIVE!

FROM

7.30pm – 11pm

Showcasing the most exciting new bands.

THEN

SMASH & GRAB

11pm - 2am

Celebrating kissing and dancing in all its strange and wonderful ways, with:

- The TRANNY-FORMATION BOOTH

- the BEYOND-HETRO DRESS UP BOX

- BOARD OF LOVE

- SEXUAL POSTBOX

Celebrating kissing and dancing in ALL their wonderful ways? Err what's the catch (apart from the possibility hooking up with someone who's bad at either, or worse, both)? Tunes on the DJ deck? Live music bands you can smugly tick off your must-see list way before they are famous? Yes please.

As if that wasn't enough this week's lineup is as follows:
8th October

Live: LETS WRESTLE

Not Cool

Screaming Tea Party

DJs: TEENAGERSINTOKYO

Stroll On

Proud Camden. The Horse Hospital, Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, Camden. NW1 8AH, www.smashandgrabclub.com

Fabbo - see you there, over and out.
